1. day: Zagreb-Đakovo-Osijek
Departure______________ in the early morning hours. Driving by a comfortable tourist bus to the eastern part of Croatia. Panoramic tour of fertile and rich surroundings to the center of Đakovština, Đakovo – a sightseeing of the city symbol; neromantic Cathedral Sv. Petar was built in 1882, according to the idea of a bishop, a native of Josip Juraj Strossmayer, made of bricks, with two 84 meters tall bell tower and a rich inventory.
A visit to one of the oldest stud farm Lipizzaner in Europe; a tour accompanied by a friendly host. Continuation of the journey towards the economic, traffic and cultural center of Slavonia, the city on the river Drava – Osijek. Upon arrival city tour: Baroque Fort; a monument dedicated to St. Trinity decorated with statues of saints – the protector of plague, marble fountains, Jesuit Church, Franciscan church, the only preserved city gate – Water Gate, the city walls, the Upper Town; monument-symbol of the city – cathedral, Croatian National Theater, baroque chapel of St. Rok.
