4 days in Slavonia

1. DAY

Arrival to Vukovar depends on the conditions of travel. Accommodation in the hotel and tour of cultural sites in the city: Eltz Castle, Church St. Philip and Jakov, the famous Water Tower and the Museum of the Vučedol Culture. After the tour a dinner of choice: in a restaurant or hotel.

2. DAY

Breakfast at the hotel and a visit to the City of Heroes by the front lines of the battlefield where small groups of brave volunteers stopped at that time the third world force, the Yugoslav Army, which in the end made this city become the Staljingrad in the 1990s.

After visiting the famous battlefields with surviving veterans lunch in the old famous restaurant Three tips of the Danube River. After lunch, visit the Memorial Cemetery of Victims of the Homeland War, visit the mass grave of Ovčara, the memorial house of Ovčara, a memorial to the House of Croatian Defenders on Trpinja road and the Vukovar Hospital, where hundreds of different projectiles fell on a daily basis. Return to the hotel for dinner or optional.

Slavonia is Croatia flattest region with an eye vast plains, with a lot of vineyards and underground wine cellars intended for pleasant company and unforgettable moments with good Slavonian food, schnaps, wine and  tamburitza.

Slavonian cities: the oldest European town Vinkovci, the town of heroes Vukovar, cellar of the city Ilok, Osijek and Đakovo.

3. DAY

Breakfast at the hotel and a trip to the nearby town of Ilok on the border with Serbia and a visit to the famous Ilok historical sites and wine cellars and lunch in one of them. After lunch, you will take a trip to the oldest European town of Vinkovci and a tour of the city and return to the Hero City at the hotel.

4. DAY

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out and transportation to a pre-arranged place.
