Podravina and Međimurje in 4 days

3. DAY

After breakfast departure to Varaždin, sightseeing of the historic core of Varaždin. After sightseeing, we cross the Drava River, in Međimurje, the smallest and most northern Croatian county. Lunch.

After lunch we start the sightseeing of Čakovec, the town of Zrinski; church of Sv. Nicholas bishop and Franciscan monastery, pedestrian zone and old town core, Zrinski monuments, … Back to hotel for dinner. Evening animation. Overnight stay.

4. DAY

Visit to the food industry “Podravka”, sightseeing of production facilities, taking photos by the “Golden Spoon”. After the factory, tour of the “Museum of Nutrition” the only such kind in Europe.

Return to the hotel for lunch, and after lunch visit to the estuary of river Mura in Drava with the famous Halasz Csarda and the beautiful beach Sip. In addition to games and outdoor activities we also visit the Veliki Pažut reserve.

There are about 200 species of birds found in the Veliki Pažut, of which about twenty are endemic species throughout Europe. At the scheduled time go to the direction of Istria. Arrival is scheduled in late evening hours.

Departing in the morning. Travel to Podravina. Upon arrival in Koprivnica, sightseeing of Koprivnica accompanied by expert guide, tour of the Zrinski Square, Church of Sv. Nicholas. Departing to a hotel, accommodation in rooms. Dinner. Evening animation. Overnight stay.

2. DAY

Breakfast. After breakfast departure to visit Ludbreg – Center of the world about which witnessed numerous legends … Visit to the Chapel of St. Cross at Batthany Castle, where in 1411 the miraculous event of the Presbyterian Blood of Jesus, on which Pope Leon X proclaimed Ludbreg as sanctuary. Return to lunch at the hotel. Afternoon bathing at the town’s pool Cerine. Dinner. Večernja animacija. Overnight stay.
